Trips to Fort Bliss

We are almost done with the semester!
Since last week our Air Force cadets from Detachment 505 took two different trips to Fort Bliss in El Paso.

The first trip was over the weekend and some of our cadets played the opposition force or the “bad guys” for JLTX (Joint Leadership Training Exercise) as volunteers for an exercise with UTEP and NMSU Army cadets.

The second trip was on Thursday. Our cadets participated in IG  time and mentorship where the cadets got time to work with their designated upperclassmen to address concerns and receive advice. Later that day they worked on squadron marching as a wing.

Our motto for this semester is “Not one step back!” and from what we can see, the cadets at Detachment 505 are holding themselves to it. Keep up the good work!
